BOOK A TALK about men’s mental health
At MANUP? we speak plainly, honestly, and from lived experience.
We don’t just talk about men’s mental health.
We talk with men, that’s a big difference.
At MANUP?, we’re regularly invited across the UK to speak at events, workplaces, schools and community spaces. We join talks in person or online, always aiming to keep the conversation real.
Most talks are delivered by our CEO, Dan Somers. He’s spoken with thousands of men about their mental health – and you can hear some of those stories on our Videos page. Dan shares what men have tried to fix themselves. What’s helped. What hasn’t. And why some approaches work for one man but not another.
Depending on the topic, others from the MANUP? team may join the session. That could include our in-house researcher, Dr Susie Bennett, if we need to dig into the data behind what we’re seeing on the ground.
Whether it’s in a boardroom or a sports hall, we cover the tough stuff.
We’ll dig into:
Why men often don’t want to talk
How to actually get them to open up
What support really looks like
Each session is tailored to the audience. From suicide prevention and fatherhood, to workplace wellbeing and practical tips on starting conversations that actually help.
We’re not here for slogans or surface-level advice. We speak plainly, honestly, and from lived experience.
