In an unprecedented move, MANUP? is joining forces with the 23 Parachute Engineer Regiment (23 Para Engr Regt) to tackle the often-overlooked issue of men's mental health within the British Army. The event will take place at Rock Barracks in Woodbridge and aims to break down the stigma surrounding mental health issues among servicemen.

What's on the Agenda?

The event will build upon a previous briefing led by Dan Austin, which covered key topics such as signs and symptoms of mental health issues, the stigma associated with them, suicide prevention, and the importance of seeking the proper support. This time, MANUP? will bring their unique perspective to the table, sharing their extensive experience in dealing with men's mental health issues.

Why This Matters

Let's not beat around the bush; mental health is often a taboo subject in the military. The "tough it out" mentality can be detrimental, and it's high time we address this elephant in the room. By bringing MANUP? into the fold, 23 Para Engr Regt is taking a proactive step to shatter these outdated notions and foster a more supportive environment.
